Slovakia by train

I'm primarily a nature photographer, but I also enjoy photographing our non nature-related adventures.
Last summer, Vivien and I toured Slovakia by train, from Budapest to Budapest. It was easy to plan, cheap and fun! Here are my highlights :)

Košice
The big town in the east, tucked among hills, with a cute old town.

Štrbské Pleso
A ski resort in the Tatra mountains, it's popular for hiking during summer. Way too popular for my taste, but the views were spectacular!

Oravský Podzámok
A small village under a high rock where sits a magnificent castle. Vivien saw it in a castle magazine when she was a kid, and had dreamt of visiting it ever since.

We even found a bat hanging from the ceiling, hidden in plain sight!

Bratislava
The capital, in the west. A blend of different influences that would warrant a longer visit.
